NINE8 CREW

Mission

Nine8 Crew was designed to inhibit the idea that only certain dancers can be a part of the energy, force, and showmanship it takes to be a part of a hip-hop crew. It will take any dancer down a successful training path for Hip-Hop dance. Focusing on the natural movement choices of each dancer, while providing structure to enforce new abilities to be born, Nine8 crew will push each dancer where their goals lie within the Hip-Hop genre. Nine8 crew will expose dancers to industry professionals and performance event opportunities.

what to expect:

• Ages 6-18

• 4-6 Competitions/Conventions

• 1X Weekly Evening Rehearsals and select few weekends.

• 1X Weekly Required HIP HOP Classes

• Required Choreography Session(s)

• NINE8 CREW ONLY or OPEN Classes & Workshops with Industry Professionals

• CREW Kick-Off Training Day

• CREW BONDFIRE

• CREW Photoshoot

• CREW Swag

• Priority Private Lessons

• Dance Concert

The NINE8 CREW season contract is from early August to the following July with the opportunity of attending Nationals during the Summer to be determined each season. All NINE8 CREW MUST attend appropriate classes during the NLDP THE INTENSIVE.

AUDITIONS AND PERFORMANCE PLACEMENT

All dancers must audition to be a part of the NINE8 CREW each year. All placements are chosen by the Nine8 Crew Artistic Director, Mikey Trasoras. Solos & Duo/Trio can be requested. Each season will vary on the crew's intention and how many groups will be needed.
